A Perfect Paradox

Just before I left to go to Boston Pride. It was very entertaining. I went alone, but just people watching was fun for me.

This one reads: “At first the bodies weren’t burned, they were buried. In January, 1944, we were forced to dig up the bodies so they could be burned. When the last mass grave was opened, I recognized my whole family, my mother, my sisters, and their kids. They were all in there.”

I went to Boston today and I saw the New England Holocaust Memorial for the 2nd time, but this time I really read everything and paid attention and some of the quotes were really emotional. I took pictures of the 2 that most affected me. This one reads: “Isle, a childhood friend of mine, once found a raspberry in the camp and carried it in her pocket all day to present to me that night on a leaf. Imagine a world in which your entire possession is one raspberry and you give it to your friend.”

And lastly, I saw this vending machine at the train station. I mean, maybe I’m just not caught up with new technology, but this vending machine is healthy, accepts credit cards, and gives you change in bills. I thought it was the coolest thing.

And I got this book. It’s pretty good so far. They said I can return it in 3 weeks. I’ll be done with this by tomorrow.

I went to the Boston Public Library yesterday and got a library card. I feel cool, now.
